Beynon Cottage Reviews

Beynon Cottage was a wonderful way to spend a long weekend. The cottage itself is very cosy with a power shower, comfy bed, great coffee machine, a working fire and all the basics you would expect. The real joy is found in the surroundings - it is within a 15 minute drive to some of the most spectacular scenery we've ever seen. Rhossili bay, Mewslade bay and 3 cliffs bay were truly breathtaking. We were fortunate enough to arrive at Rhossili bay at low tide so were able to walk to Wormshead peak which was incredible. Port Eynon is a quiet seaside town, with a couple of lovely pubs, although it is probably more lively when in the spring and summer months. We would love to come back again one day to this extraordinary part of the world and would thoroughly recommend Beynon Cottage to everyone!

Fantastic long weekend in Beynon cottage. Snug and warm with a powerful hot shower, and a
great pub round the corner.

John, Bristol

Beynon Cottage is a delightful place to stay to enjoy the wonderful Gower Peninsula. Perfectly located on a village lane 1 minute walk from the beach and round the corner from the Ship Inn. Very well appointed and with a lovely little enclosed front garden with table and chairs to sit outside in the evening with a drink and enjoy the peace and quiet. Highly recommended.

We loved our second time staying at Beynon Cottage! Comfortable and cosy as ever, and such a good base from which to walk and explore. Really appreciated the welshcakes and everywhere was very clean. Looking forward to next year already!

A beautiful cottage in a beautiful location, I can’t recommend Beynon Cottage highly enough. With thoughtful touches from the host to make us feel at home, this was a lovely place to stay. Port Eynon beach is a very short walk away and the excellent Ship Inn just around the corner. A great base to explore the rest of the Gower as well. I hope we’ll have the chance to go back.

Caroline, Usk

This is a lovely little cottage in a great location. It is situated in the heart of the village just a short stumble from the pub (good food & beer) and about 1 minute walk from the beach. We had atrocious weather which just made the coastline more spectacular!

Andrew, Lincoln

We have had another fabulous week in the lovely Beynon Cottage. It is such a blissful escape from the normal chaotic lives we lead. Beautiful beaches, great food and, best of all, special family time together. We will be back as often as you will have us.
PS - The beds are so comfortable. Thank you!

A truly wonderful Christmas break in a lovely cottage. Very well equipped and nice decor. A great location for coastal walks. Lots of overnight rain but the weather was kind to us during the day for walking. Thank you for the Welsh cakes - a nice touch. Hopefully it won't be too long before we can return to Beynon Cottage. Thank you Geraint.

Discovering the joys of the Gower was a delightful surprise. The cottage was very much home from home - comfortable, cosy and everything we could want for a perfect stay. Port Eynon leaves us with many wonderful memories and thanks for the lovely Welsh Cakes for tea.

A beautiful cottage with so many beautiful touches. You've been so thoughtful and this is certainly one of the nicest holiday lets we've ever stayed in from the stunning fine bone china tea set, the coffee pods and milk - even the parking space guards to stop guests hitting their cars! Lovely area, place and kind people, particularly Paul and Debbie at the end of the courtyard. We made great friends with the Ship pub (wow, lovely food) and had a fair few drinks flowing too. Thank you so much x
