The interior consists of a spacious entrance hall, lounge, kitchen/dining/sitting room, large utility room, three bedrooms and two bathrooms. It is set in a large, well maintained garden and enjoys breath-taking views over the local Gower countryside.

The kitchen/dining/sitting room is a spacious, airy room with French-windows leading onto the patio. The kitchen area is fully fitted and tiled and is well equipped with electric cooker, dishwasher, microwave and fridge. There is a log burner in the dining/sitting area and a large pine table with chairs, sofa and armchair.

In the utility room you will find a second sink, a washing machine and a freezer. There is also ample room here for coats and outdoor footwear.

The lounge also has a log burner and through the east facing window you can see right across the local countryside to Rhossili Downs. There are two large, comfortable sofas, a coffee table and a television. There are also French-windows which again lead onto the patio.

The master bedroom boasts a super-king sized bed which can be separated into two single beds on request. There is ample storage space in the wardrobe and dressing table. The views from this bedroom are quite breath-taking, as they are from all the bedrooms.

The second bedroom has a king-sized bed and again there is ample storage space in the wardrobe, dressing table and bedside drawers.

The single bedroom has a wardrobe with drawers which is ample storage space for one person.

A travel cot is available on request but please provide your own bedding for the cot.

The upstairs bathroom is tiled throughout and includes a bath with overhead shower, toilet and hand basin. The downstairs bathroom is also tiled throughout and has a shower, toilet and hand basin. Bath and hand towels are provided but guests should provide their own beach towels.

The house enjoys WiFi and full central heating as well as two log burners. There is ample parking outside.

Castle Croft is situated on Llanddewi Castle Farm which is a working farm and has been in the James family for over a hundred years. The Gower Way Footpath runs right outside the front door and makes a wonderful walk all the way to Rhossili. There is a beautiful Norman church in the farmyard and services are still held there should you wish to attend. Being situated in central Gower means that all local beaches, castles, pubs, restaurants and local wedding venues are within easy driving distance of the property. Previous guests have described Castle Croft as a peaceful oasis to return after a busy day at the beach or sightseeing.

Castle Croft Reviews

A lovely house, wonderful location for exploring Gower and its walks and beaches. We loved coming back from walks and lighting the woodburner. Comfortable and spacious home from home, with such a hospitable owner.
Thank you for such a lovely welcome and ensuring we had everything we needed, including the best Welsh cakes,

The house is spacious, light and airy. It is extremely well equipped for those who enjoy cooking. We love to feel remote and away from the hustle and bustle of life and Castle Croft is the perfect location, surrounded by fields and with beautiful sunsets every night. Perfect tranquility and yet within such quick and easy reach of the most stunning beaches and walks. Why would you fly abroad when this gem is right here in the UK!

Wow! We had the best time here in Gower!
The house is the perfect base for a family of four or five wanting a spacious place to relax in after a full day of coastal walks and beaches.
Christine and Robert were the most attentive hosts. Everything was so easy and relaxed.
WE would love to come back.
Recommend ; The Britannia Inn, The King Arthur Hotel, Seafarer's fish & chips in Port EYnon.

Our stay at Castle Croft has been blissfully tranquil, a tonic and exactly the sort of sanctuary we all needed. We have loved exploring the North and South coast of Gower, which we already knew well, but still managed to provide beautiful discoveries and surprises.
Thank you so much for your warm and generous welcome, and swift and swift and thoughtful responses to our every extra request.
We would to return, hopefully not to far into the future.

An absolutely lovely house and location.
Christine was very welcoming and left delicious Welsh cakes!
We explored many places and our daughter and partner have enjoyed becoming acquainted with the beautiful Gower coast.
Thank you for making our holiday a real pleasure.

What a wonderful place to stay and what a wonderful house. Christine really looked after us and the fresh eggs were perfect for breakfast. The house is lovely, in a very quiet spot and perfect for all our favourite beaches, Rhossili, Port Eynon and Oxwich. It was a lovely oasis to get back to after the beach and with a lovely garden for our daughter to run around in. Thank you very much!
