Blue Pool Bay or Bluepool Corner as it is marked on the OS map can only be reached on foot and it lays 1 Km West of Broughton on the Gower Peninsula, South Wales.

Facilities include:

  • nearest car park Broughton (private fee charged)

Bluepool is a secluded, rocky inlet. There is a good opportunity for ornithologists here and on a clear day you can see Llanelli and Burry Port across the estuary.

Bathing here can be dangerous with the tides, so care is needed.

A short walk South West over the sand dunes will bring you to Llangennith Burrows and Burry Holms.
