Glebe Farmhouse is a Grade II Listed Building and is a very special old house as it is not only the oldest inhabited house on Gower, it has its own unique but friendly ghost. It dates as far back as the 12th Century and has a wealth of history surrounding it. It was originally built for the powerful order of St John of Jerusalem and his knights. The barns are situated in the farm yard and when you sit on the patio you can relax and enjoy the ambience and spectacular views of such a peaceful and stunning hamlet of North Gower.

There are two barn conversions, one sleeping up to five people (plus a cot) and this one sleeping two people, however there is an adjoining door between the two properties which is usually locked, but could be opened to make one larger property sleeping up to seven people plus a cot.

The Stable, Glebe Farm Barns Reviews

We have had a fantastic break - lots of walking, eating and drinking - perfect! Great accommodation and stunning surroundings - you are very lucky. Many thanks for your hospitality and hopefully we will see you again.

We have had a fantastic stay at the Stable. The accommodation is very comfortable with everything provided that you may require. We like the fact that it is quiet here - a truly relaxing setting. The local pub - The Britannia Inn - is fantastic and the food is amazing plus lots of gluten free options (which I have made the most of being a Coeliac Disease sufferer). We went to the pub 2 nights running. It is a popular pub so would recommend booking a table. We have done some fantastic walks in Gower during our stay - the beaches are stunning. We are already planning a return trip to explore more of the South Wales Coastal Path. We enjoyed watching the 2 ducks in the yard.

Thank you so much, we had a brilliant time. The cottage is gorgeous, comfy bed, warm and amazing shower. The local area is stunning and had lovely food at the King Arthur and Britannia Inn. Managed to go cycling, walking and swimming. Sorry to leave but hopefully will be back to stay again soon. It was a real treat and very relaxing.

Four years after we first visited, we have returned and it's just as perfect as we remembered. My boyfriend had planned this as a surprise getaway. As we were driving towards Swansea on the motorway, it clicked where he was taking me and I shouted 'are we going back to the Barn? Please don't get my hopes up'. When we pulled up into the driveway, I burst into tears. I have so many happy memories of this barn and I suddenly became overwhelmed with emotion. It's the perfect little home for 3 nights and the Brit Pub serves fantastic food. I'm already excited for our next trip. See you in another four years.

Dear Tracy & Andy
Thank you once again for an enjoyable stay (the tenth to date!) The weather has been glorious, dare I say too hot on times. We have sat out on the patio for most of our meals and enjoyed evenings with you both cooling off with the odd drink or two.
Love & best wishes to each & everyone
