Traditional, recently refurbished spacious five bedrooms Farmhouse, retaining original inglenook fire place. The Farmhouse is set in the village of Horton on the Gower Peninsula designated as Britain’s first Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and located five minutes from the coastal path.

Gower caters for everyone from coastal and inland walks offering spectacular scenic and wildlife views to safe sandy beaches ideal for swimming and surfing. Whilst out exploring on Gower you will come across caves, castles ruins, and tucked away village churches.  A short journey away you will find the City of Swansea with all the major attractions you would expect to find in a large city, along with Mumbles offering individual and quirky shopping and eating establishments. Here you can walk or cycle along the promenade or just sit and relax watching the sun go down, Gower caters for all ages and abilities.

Horton Farmhouse briefly comprises of a kitchen, utility room, two sitting rooms, dining room, conservatory, patio, barbeque, 5 en-suite bedrooms


  • A fully fitted kitchen with an oil rayburn, double electric oven, fridge, microwave and dishwasher.
  • The adjoining utility room has a sink unit, washing machine, tumble dryer and fridge freezer.
  • The lounge has a fabulous, large inglenook fireplace with log burning stove, colour TV with Freeview and a DVD player with double doors leading out onto the patio.
  • The second sitting room leads to the dining room and conservatory.
  • The dining room has a piano and table large enough to seat ten people comfortably and is attached to the second sitting room.
  • Conservatory has comfortable seating and a stereo system with double doors leading into the second sitting room also a set of double doors onto the patio.
  • The cloakroom has a shower, toilet and wash hand basin.
  • Bedroom five is an adaptable room twin or king, colour TV and DVD with en-suite shower room and is situated downstairs.


  • Bedroom one has a king-size bed, colour TV and DVD with en-suite shower, bath, toilet and wash hand basin.
  • Bedroom two has a king-size bed with colour TV and DVD, en-suite shower, toilet and wash hand basin.
  • Bedroom three is an adaptable room twin or super king, colour TV and DVD, en-suite shower, toilet, bidet and wash hand basin.
  • Bedroom four is an adaptable room twin or king colour TV and DVD, the main bathroom is adjacent with bath toilet and wash hand basin.

Parking is directly outside of the house, bed linen and towels (please bring own beach towels) central heating, electric, gas BBQ and Wi-Fi all included in rental costs. No smoking or pets allowed in the property.

A few minutes walk from a safe sandy blue flag awarded beach. Walking distance to eating and drinking establishments located in Port Eynon.

Thank you so much for allowing us to make use of your beautiful farmhouse. We had such a wonderful and special time here. The weather could have been a lot worse so we still managed to get to several beaches- Horton, Port Eynon, Pobbles, Rhossili. We walked for miles and visited several pubs!

Here we are again! Our favourite holiday, celebrating birthdays together. Lots of sunshine, surfing and cosy evenings by the fire when the weather was wet. Lots more walks with fantastic views. We will be back again next year!
