Tor Bay is a large sandy beach that is shaped like a horseshoe.

There is always some sand even at high tide and because it is enclosed and partially sheltered, this makes it popular with bathers. However there are no lifeguards on this beach.

Facilities include:

  • Green Coast Award
  • parking in Penmaen

It stands at the Eastern end of Oxwich Bay. At low tide you can walk West to Oxwich, past Nicholaston Burrows or East to Three Cliffs. If the tide is in, then the coastal paths need to be followed.
