Pwlldu Bay is a very secluded bay. Very pebbly, picturesque and romantic.

Facilities include:

The only public access is on foot from either Brandy Cove (approx 20 mins), Pennard or through Bishopston Valley (both approx 1 hour).

Although Pwlldu literally translates as “Black Pool”, Pwlldu could not be further removed from the more well known contemporary holiday destination. Great for bird watching and getting away from the crowds.

A path leads West towards Hunts Bay and High Pennard. At the far side of Pennard is the footpath that leads to Pobbles.

Following the footpath to the East, towards Swansea will take you to Brandy Cove.

Tour the Gower Coastline:
Go clockwise | Go anticlockwise
