The cottage can accommodate 4 adults and 2 children. All bedrooms are on the first floor and include a master bedroom with king-sized bed, ensuite, French doors and Juliet balcony, one double room and one twin room with 2 singles (2’6″ wide beds, adults also welcome!) that share a family bathroom.
Downstairs a porch (with access to a downstairs WC) for walking boots or buckets and spades leads into a fully equipped kitchen that includes an induction hob, microwave, full-sized fridge freezer, dishwasher, Nespresso machine and washer dryer.
The lounge has a smart TV, relaxing sofa’s, dining table and chairs, a log burner, and a set of French doors leading out into the garden. Also accessed through a side gate, the garden is grassed with two paved seating areas and is fully enclosed for those who don’t leave home without the dog!
Private parking is available for 2 vehicles.
Port Eynon’s village amenities are within 100 meters of the cottage and include The Ship Inn and Smugglers Beach Bar & Kitchen which open all year round, whilst The Beach House Surf & Coffee Shop, two fish and chip shops and a gift shop open seasonally.
The cottage accepts up to 2 pets by prior arrangement provided they remain off all furniture and downstairs and are subject to a pet fee.
The cottage is let on a Saturday-to-Saturday basis during school holidays, whilst stays of a shorter duration are welcomed outside these dates.
Fabulous accommodation - beautifully clean, very well equipped, comfortable and a 2 minute walk to the beach. The garden opening out from the lounge and kitchen was a real blessing. Beds were comfy and bathrooms were fabulous. We had such a lovely time - great walks in both directions and Port Eynon is a beautiful beach. Thank you Debbie and Dean x
We absolutely loved our time in this beautiful cottage! Debbie was an amazing host and couldn’t do enough for us. The area was beautiful and we enjoyed going to the pub across the road, as well as exploring the nearby beaches and countryside.
We had a lovely week at Oxwich View Cottage. Debbie was really helpful with clear instructions on how to find the property and how to get inside etc. The cottage was lovely and clean and had everything you could possibly need. Its also really well situated, a few minutes from the sea and lots of beautiful walks but not too far from Swansea. We chatted to Deb and Dean a few times and they were really friendly and helpful. The food at The Ship is also amazing! We will definitely be back!
Another superb stay - biggest thanks to the team @ Hael Farm Cottages. As before, accommodation is EXEMPLARY and location unrivalled. Oxwich View Cottage is perfect for couples or families. It is modern, bright, well equipped and ideally situated to enjoy Port Eynon and the Gower. We're already booking for next year!
From the moment I booked, Debbie was always contactable and very responsive. She is the perfect host. The house was immaculate and exactly as described. It has everything you could want and more. Loads of cutlery, glasses and crockery, so no need to wash mugs every time you want to make a hot drink! Plenty of loo roll, bin bags etc and lots of little extras. The house was spotless, and the use of a dishwasher and washing machine really made a difference. The location is right where it’s all happening - the Ship Inn across the road is welcoming, and the food is excellent, yet very peaceful. Walk 2-3 mins towards the sea, and there are takeaway fish & chips, a mini store, cafe etc And of course, the most beautiful beach, with lots of surrounding walks. We enjoyed a day out on the bus to Rhossilli Bay, so we could all enjoy a drink and excellent fish & chips at the Worms Head Hotel. We’d return in a heartbeat!
We were a family party of adults. The cottage was perfect for our stay with sufficient parking, an easy to use layout, comfy beds and a well equipped kitchen. We particularly appreciated the generous welcome tray. Debbie was great at giving us all the information required. We ate at the pub opposite and had fish and chips from the front. The weather wasn’t suitable for sitting on the beach, but was perfect for walks from our front door. We also had a fun hour gin tasting gin at the Gower Gin Distillery in the village. We would highly recommend this place - we had a great time.
