Berry Hall cottage offers detached contemporary cottage style accommodation situated in the hamlet of Berry. Sleeping 4 people in two double bedrooms, with 2 bathrooms and open plan kitchen /living area and surrounded by ancient footpaths in the heart of South Gower it a perfect location to explore Gower from. Surrounded by ancient green lanes, woodlands and tracks Berry Hall cottage is a perfect location for families, walkers and cyclists. Walkers can easily access the coast path with Oxwich and Slade bay 40 minutes walk and Horton 35 minute walk via the green lanes.
Berry Hall cottage is just lovely! It is attached to the 18th Century Gower House Berry Hall and tucked away in the peaceful hamlet of Berry, you are just 10 minutes drive from the award winning beaches of Port Eynon, Rhossili and Oxwich. Refurbished to a very high standard whilst maintaining original features, Berry Hall Cottage sleeps four in a king size and a double bedroom.
There are two bathrooms, a lovely family bathroom with walk in power shower and separate bath and an en suite shower room off the king size bedroom.
The downstairs has a lovely open plan living/ kitchen/ dining room, which is beautifully presented and has the original stone fireplace, a very well equipped kitchen, large plasma TV and DVD, two very comfortable sofas, dining table to seat four.
Outside there is a very private and sheltered patio with table chairs and BBQ, which catches the afternoon sun. Perfect for sitting out drinking cold beers or a glass of wine with a meal on warm evenings. There is also seating in a gravelled garden area to the front of Berry Hall that leads off from the patio area that is bathed in sunshine all day, making it an ideal place to have breakfast.
Shops & local amenities close by, off road parking for two cars, fully central heated, well behaved dogs welcome by prior arrangement.
Perfect for couples & families needing a relaxing break or an action packed countryside beach holiday. Short breaks available outside peak weeks

It is in a pleasant quiet location just a short drive from local ameneties and well situated for key visitor spots. The WiFi was excellent, the kitchen has everything one could need with the bonus of a dishwasher and washing machine (tablets and powder supplied) and the beds are my most comfortable. The owners really have put a lot of thought into everything you might need here, including leaving tea, coffee, milk and fresh eggs! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, thank you Wendy and Mark! The location and cottage are delightful. and very central for hiking, beaches and eating out. We did lots of coastal hiking along routes we found on the OS App, as well as beach trips, mostly for swimming. Eating out at various pubs and fish & chips on Oxwich beach all added to our holiday. We loved staying at Wendy's place and it was perfect for our first ever holiday with our 5 month old puppy. Beautiful beaches and stunning views from cliff top walks. A very comfortable and cosy cottage within easy driving of all Gower’s main attractions. The property is attached to Berry Hall, the owner’s home, yet with complete privacy within a quiet and tranquil farm setting. Facilities exactly as described, all squeaky clean and well-presented. The wifi is super fast! The main village is Scurlage; it has a Premier food store for basics. The fish and chip shop is open Friday / Saturday. We really enjoyed our stay; recommend Clyne Gardens in Mumbles (free, dog friendly, especially lovely in spring and autumn as it’s mainly a woodland garden) and of course a stroll along the Prom. Oxwich Bay is stunning, as is the Rhosilli walk - with a break at Eddy’s cafe (fab!). You can also get a bus to Port Eynon, walk to Rhosilli on the coast path and get another bus back - check times! We both felt at home straight away in this cute little cottage. Wendy has put together really clear instructions and also recommendations for local stuff etc that we found very useful. It is attached to main house but you forget about that straight away, it feels like a very private place. Very functional, clean and tidy and easy to keep that way. Would definitely consider staying here again on our next visit to Wales and have already recommended to people we know Tom 26th May 2026
